Week 1 went quickly. Starting on Tuesday and working through Saturday Jamie and I verified and dedicated 41 wells! With all of the volunteers, 286 wells were installed. That is just in 5 days! That’s 28,600 people (approximately) that now have access to safe clean water.
There have, of course, been challenges: finding fuel for our trucks (diesel), driving on potholed roads (nothing new), but we have made it thus far. Fuel is lacking one day and if you move or can wait a day, sometimes it shows up. There are potholes, you just try to pick the shallow ones when you can’t get around.
